Network Presentation

The Wallonia Network for Nanotechnologies aims at gathering the academic laboratories, the research centers, and the industries active in the fields of nanosciences and nanotechnologies in the Wallonia Region of Belgium and in Brussels, in order to enhance both Belgian competencies and activities in those fields.

Presently, approximately 60 academic laboratories from the five major universities of the French Community of Belgium (Liège Université, Université catholique de Louvain, Université libre de Bruxelles, Université de Mons, Université de Namur) are members of the network, as well as several research centers and industries.

In the next sections, you will find information concerning the origin, the objectives, the structure and, the activities and events organized by the network all along the year. You can also visualize the general presentation of the network presented at the NanoTech 2009 Conference and Trade Show in Houston on May 2009 by clicking on the link hereunder.
