The Wallonia Network for Nanotechnologies aims at gathering the academic laboratories, the research centers and the industries active in the fields of nanosciences and nanotechnologies in the Wallonia Region of Belgium and in Brussels, in order to enhance both Belgian competencies and activities in those fields.
Presently, approximately 40 academic research teams from the five major universities of the French Community of Belgium (UCLouvain, ULB, ULiège, UMONS and UNamur) are members of the network, as well as several research centres and industries. This represents more than 300 researchers.
On this site, you will find information concerning the objectives, the structure, and the activities in the "Presentation" section. In the "Education" section, the training activities organized by the network or in its framework are listed. Workshops and conferences related to nanotechnologies are listed in the "Events" section. In the "Members" section, you will find information on the activities of the network members. In the "Regulations" section, you will finally find the statutes of the network, the composition of the management board and the information to become a network member.
The contact form allows you sending a message to the NanoWal management board.
